Join our point of sales located at De Bijenkorf, Dam 1, 1012 Js 1012 JS Amsterdam as a Store Manager and play an active role in its development. You will lead and support a team of 4 people.

Your responsibilities:

• You set the pace and inspire your team to engage with every customer.
• Your strong understanding of the shop floor enables you to adapt your approach, anticipate customer expectations and deliver a genuine, attentive experience that reflects the American Vintage universe.
• You monitor performance, identify areas for improvement and involve your team in finding solutions. Every target becomes a collective goal, supported by relevant and measurable actions.

• You act as a true ambassador for the brand with both your team and your customers. Through your presence and attention to detail, you ensure that its style, energy and values are reflected throughout the store.
• You ensure the collections are presented in a consistent and attractive way, while adapting merchandising guidelines to the specific needs and commercial priorities of your store.
• You also maintain an overall view of the store’s organisation: product availability, stock management, task allocation, priority management and effective use of resources.

• You take the time to understand each team member, identifying their strengths, development needs and individual drivers.
• You coach and support your team on a daily basis, share your expertise and provide constructive feedback to help each person develop greater autonomy and confidence.
• You create an environment that combines high standards with support, where achievements are recognised and challenges are addressed openly and transparently. Your ability to bring people together helps build a complementary, accountable and sustainably engaged team.

• Above all, you are commercially driven, with a strong passion for the shop floor and performance.
• You have proven experience in managing and driving the performance of a retail store.
• Your strong interest in fashion and products enables you to showcase the collections in a relevant and inspiring way.
• Adaptable, flexible and naturally curious, you bring an authentic, dynamic and creative approach to your role.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is essential for this position.
