Sales Associate 20 hours - Part Time

We’re looking for a passionate and customer-focused team member to join our American Vintage store at Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto on a part-time, 20-hour-per-week basis.

Working alongside Alex, our Store Manager, and the team, you’ll play an important role in bringing our collections, style, and brand experience to life.

What you’ll be part of:

1. Make every customer interaction count

• Connect with customers and share your passion for fashion and the American Vintage universe.
• Create a personalized and memorable shopping experience, from the first interaction to the fitting room and checkout.
• Build strong client relationships and help turn first-time visitors into loyal customers.
• Stay motivated by your sales goals and enjoy challenging yourself to achieve them.

2. Bring the American Vintage spirit to life

• Be a true ambassador of the brand, bringing your own personality, energy, and attention to detail to the store.
• Help create an inspiring and welcoming environment where customers feel connected to the brand.
• Keep the sales floor looking its best and make sure our collections are presented according to our visual merchandising standards.
• Use our digital tools to support your daily activities and enhance the customer experience.

3. Keep things moving behind the scenes

• Take an active role in managing the product journey, from deliveries to end-of-season returns.
• Keep the stockroom organized and make sure products are easy to find and ready for the sales floor.
• Support inventory and stock management to keep the store running smoothly.

• A first experience in retail would be appreciated.
• You have a strong and inspiring personal style.
• You are able to build and maintain unique relationships with your clients.
• You enjoy working in a dynamic, fashion-driven environment where challenge is key.
• You are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
• Fluency in English is required for this position
